Mild steel develops natural surface rust over time—a feature rather than a flaw if you embrace the rustic aesthetic. Keep it dry and lightly oiled to preserve the finish, or let it weather naturally for authentic patina.

The protective oil coating from manufacturing burns off over an open flame before first use. Store dry between uses to extend its life.

Mild steel may develop surface rust if exposed to moisture. This is normal and can be easily removed with light cleaning and oiling. Keeping the product dry and lightly oiled will help protect the steel.

After each use, wipe clean and store in a dry place.
